Terms & Conditions shall apply to passengers using the Taxi (Approved by Kerala Online Taxi Operators Confederation)

Driver & Service Terms

  • The driver's regular duty hours are from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM. After returning to the hotel following your day's sightseeing or activities, the cab will not be available for food or shopping trips. Please allow the driver adequate rest for your safety during travel. Overtime will incur a charge of Rs. 300 per hour; however, this does not apply to emergencies or arrival/departure situations.
  • During festive or peak seasons, including Pooja, Diwali, Christmas, Onam, New Year holidays, and similar occasions, the standard rates shall not be applicable.
  • Vomiting on seats or the floor will incur additional cleaning charges, payable directly at the nearest service centre by the passenger (between Rs. 600 and Rs. 1,000). We kindly recommend carrying a plastic bag for any unexpected instances of vomiting.
  • The use of air conditioning is limited to the time when the vehicle is in operation. It should not be used during idle periods.
  • Hotels and resorts are required to provide parking and restroom facilities for drivers without imposing extra charges for adjacent pay-and-park or dormitory services. This applies specifically to cab-only packages.
  • Please ensure to fasten your seatbelt for a secure trip, and remember to open and close the doors gently.
  • Please refrain from placing your feet on the seat or the back of the front seat.
  • The consumption of food, beverages, smoking materials, and alcohol is strictly prohibited within the cab.
  • Vehicles are not permitted for off-road services. Please refrain from allowing children to travel in the front seat.
  • Please ensure that all individuals are completely dry and free of sand before using the vehicle during the event, especially after visiting locations such as beaches or waterfalls. Failure to do so may result in damage to the vehicle's seats and flooring.

Booking & Payment Terms

  • The Operator/Driver shall not be held liable for any delays, changes in the itinerary, or expenses incurred—either directly or indirectly—resulting from natural disasters, flight cancellations, accidents, equipment malfunctions, transportation breakdowns, adverse weather conditions, illness, landslides, political closures, or any unforeseen events.
  • To secure your taxi reservation, please remit 25% of the total fare upon booking. A further 50% will be due when you board the vehicle, and the final 25% should be paid upon completion of your journey.
  • Please note that the 25% advance payment is non-refundable for cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking. All cancellation requests must be communicated via email.
  • When arranging your taxi service, please ensure you provide the pickup location, any relevant stops, and your final destination.
  • Please be polite to the taxi driver.
  • For a one-way drop-off, the rental fee will be calculated based on the distance in kilometres you return the vehicle.
  • If you decide to contact the taxi driver directly without going through the Kerala taxi cab office, please be aware that the agency will not be held responsible for any resulting consequences.
  • All rates are provided in INR (Indian Rupees).
  • Passengers are required to cover the expenses for tolls, parking fees, inter-state permits, and inter-state taxes.
  • Passengers are advised to secure their valuables, as the driver or Kerala taxi service can not be held liable for any loss or damage.
  • If the passenger has inflicted any damage to the taxi, standard repair charges will be applicable.
